Lexus RX Crossover to Receive More Room and a Third Row

Nobody does luxury SUV crossover like Lexus. Their RX line of crossovers is iconic, and a popular choice for our customers here at Lexus of Wilmington.

Now, with a big announcement from the bigwigs at Lexus, our favorite SUV is about to get even better.

The annual rite of passage for automobile buffs, known as the Los Angeles Auto Show, took place this month. It set the stage for a couple of major announcements from Lexus. In one of their biggest announcements so far, our favorite premium brand told the world that the next outing of the RX crossover will feature a new variation, and it comes with three rows of seating.

Traditionally, the Lexus RX SUV has always been available in two different two-row options. The five passenger Lexus RX 350, and the Lexus RX 450h, which is a hybrid option.

Now, however, Wilmington drivers will be able to order the same RX style and quality they love, in a longer style, and with a third row of seating. The new, extended RX models will be the RX 350L and RX 450hL.

The three-row Lexus RX models will have a dedicated climate control for passengers in the back row, as well as a split-folding capability that is power-operated. Additionally, drivers will now have the option of captain-style chairs for the second row.

While we have to wait until 2018 to try out the larger Lexus RX in person, you can experience all the thrill of the current, 2017 Lexus RX two-row SUVs now, right here in Wilmington. We have an assortment of models currently available on our new car lot, and we look forward to introducing you to all of them.
